When, I first saw the Slanket online, I wondered how do we put it on? I thought, can you hop around in it like a potato sack? Was there a zipper? No. And, there are no buttons either. Gosh! I hate it! Yes, we are from the south and I don’t mean to sound all redneckish. lol I am sorry but I missed Bruce Willis(Skanket) wearing it on Late Night with David Letterman.
Actually, the Slanket is like an over-sized super-soft blanket and you put it on like putting a coat on backwards. In the photo above, my husband was the first to break it in. He began by wrapping it around himself backwards. Giggles. I told him afterward that he was supposed to wear it like putting on a coat.
The Slanket comes in over a dozen colors and patterns. (Skull, safari, camo, etc…) We received the ruby wine for review. The sectional in my sunroom/family room is almost the same color so I opted to take a picture in our living room.
Since, it’s still rather warm in Georgia this time of year I didn’t think I could get the great warmth experience. What the hay! I put it on and bundled up on the couch while watching TV with the kids. I enjoyed it. (Turned up the AC) Yes, I can drink my hot cocoa and eat snacks while watching a good movie with the kids. The only problem is that we are going to have to get one for each of us. Help! We better add this to the list for Santa Claus.
