Probably the most unusual aspects of a Herman Miller Aeron Chair is usually its sizing. Aeron Recliners are available in three sizes, A, B and C. Size B covers the vast majority of people (around 90%) with 'A' covering the very smallest percentile and 'C' covering the major, heavier percentile. The positive aspect of this is that the dimensions on the chair are scaled based on size as is the weight control for the tilt and the chairs are suitable for a much broader great number of people than many other seats. One negative aspect, and there are very few, is that the chair relies on the three sizes for seat height. There is no seat depth change facility on the chair. Hand height is adjusted within the Aeron Chair via two levers on the rear of every arm or, on a lot of chairs, these levers are replaced by wheels. Biceps and triceps have a good range of correction and move very easily. Left arm pads are pivoting when standard, although it is possible to order fixed (non-pivoting) hand pads if required. Once positioned inwards, they offer good support for keyboard work and when positioned straight or perhaps slightly outwards, they are appropriate for mouse or general do the job. Arm pads are huge and well padded.
